Overview

Fregate Island Private is one of the world’s most lavish luxury hotel resorts. The easternmost of the Seychelles granitic Inner Islands, it boasts a dazzling array of activities and facilities. Location

Fregate Island Private is located in the Inner Islands of the Seychelles, an Indian Ocean archipelago of 115 islands, known for its clear turquoise seas fringed by green rainforests. The island lies approximately 50 km due east of Mahé, making it one of the Seychelles’ most secluded granite giants.

International guests should fly to Seychelles International Airport on Mahé (flights via Dubai, Frankfurt, London Heathrow and more). From here, Fregate Island Private is reached via a 15-minute helicopter flight or 90-minute boat ride, subject to weather conditions. DINING

The island’s own plantation and hydroponics farm guarantee fresh fruit and vegetables every day.

FREGATE HOUSE

Offers a daily gourmet menu featuring the Chef’s selection of local products. Dining in Fregate House is available on the lower terrace and also in the restaurant, replete with evening sea breezes.

PLANTATION HOUSE

Serves authentic Creole Style a la carte cuisine. This historical building evokes the memories of the early settlers and is a wonderful venue for open air dining. The Plantation House is closed seasonally due to bird nesting.

THE PIRATES’ BAR/ANSE BAMBOO BEACH BAR

offers light snacks and drinks at lunch and dinner.

WINE CELLAR

The resort’s wine selection competes with the most famous hotel and restaurants in the world, presenting a variety of wines from all around the globe, including important labels, varietals and vineyards. These wines are also offered for tastings, and the wine cellar also offers a dining facility for a group of up to 10 guests.

SPA

The Rock Spa sits at the Island’s summit with panoramic views of the forest and ocean beyond. Overseen by ayurvedic physician Dr Abhilash Haridas, the spa leans heavily toward the holistic and offers a wonderful selection of treatments using products created from the island’s flora.

Facilities include six treatment rooms, a pool, a yoga centre and gym, and a candlelit relaxation area where herbal teas and juices are served. A complimentary yoga class and a head and shoulder massage are offered complimentary to all guests on arrival to the island to encourage immediate relaxation.
